South Africa Rugby union and ASICS have teamed together to create a special Blitzboks uniform to mark Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday. It will be worn during the Cape Town Sevens in December 2018.

The Mandela 100 initiative has created the jersey. It has a striking and unique design that pays tributes to the former South African president.
The pattern was inspired from Mandela’s bright and colorful ‘Madiba’ shirts. This is to celebrate the unique relationship between Mandela, South African rugby and the iconic 1995 Rugby World Cup.
