Spain’s international Rugby club dates back to 1901. Their greatest achievement was Spain’s 1999 Rugby World Cup qualifier. Spain today takes on Russia and Georgia in the European Nations Cup. Spain has never been the European champions. But, it has made close efforts. They were second only to Georgia (and Romania) in 2012, when they came close to becoming European champions. Spain is determined for the 2018/19 season to be a great year for their players as well as their national team. They were third and fourth in the Rugby Europe Championship tournaments.
Joma is a Spanish manufacturer of this kit. Since 2016, they have been the kits supplier. Generali is their current sponsor. The home shirt is red in colour with a digital pattern. There are also two trim options: a blue trim or a golden trim. The Joma logo (and team badge) are to the right.
